I love falafel! I hate hand shaping it. This little tool is easy to use and easy to clean. Having uniformly sized and shaped patties assures they're all cooked perfectly.It feels very sturdy, easy to clean and does the job! I am totally happy with the productEasy to use and easy to clean.Only problem is the size. I would have preferred a larger patty, but it is what it is.Quite happy!I am glad to pay more for quality. You can buy a falafel maker for $7 but it rusts and is hard to clean.This comes apart so you can clean it and is stainless! People complain that the handle is plastic but it seems like quality plastic and is easy too grip. Made in Germany you can tell this is really well made. I had to modify mine by adding 4 stainless steel washers under the main plate that the falafel mix goes on because it was deeper than I wanted. I am making Keto falafel with sunflower seeds and I like my falafel disks thinner. It was a very easy fix and works perfectly.I bought the xxxl size and try it today , I wanna say it’s really worth every penny I spent, high quality, non sticky.I highly recommendedI love falafel and decided to try my hand at making them at home. Still trying to perfect my recipe but this makes churning out uniformed portioned disks of falafel goodness easy. It's probably the easiest part of the falafel making process. Cleaning it is just as easy and I love that you can take it apart and clean every inch of it so there's no dried on caked on ick that you can't get to left behind. Genius invention. Thought it was pricy at first but its worth every penny.Great quality build. Has a solid feel. Very easy to disassemble for cleaning and looks brand new when done. Keep your drain covered so you don't lose any small parts. If somehow it comes up missing, I wouldn't bother looking at a different brand.I sell falafels hence make a lotAll of the other scoops I saw seemed to be of very low quality, so I got this one. It's very effective but I cannot help but think it seems a little expensive.However -- I made the best falafel I've ever had so perhaps my judgement here is wrong! Nothing else so far has done the trick.I've spent two years shaping falafel by hand, don't know why I didn't invest in this sooner. It's a lot quicker and less messy and makes very professional looking falafel. I wasn't sure what size to get but this is perfect. I'd say this is the same size as the falafel I am served in most restaurants. They are quite small so lots of crunchy outside.It did take me a little while to work out how best to use it. But now I pack the falafel mix in hard, push out the falafel, then peel it of the press. That works well.Wonderful for making falafels ? makes me feel like a pro and they come out perfectlyReally well designed product, the medium provided me the prefect size. Just a little priceyI waited months for a none Isreali product, this one ismade in Germany but I was really miffed when it shipped from Israel. Still it is good product if somewhat overpriced.
