I bought this for my granddaughter. She loved all the colors. It was easy to work with and easy to clean up. Seems less crumbly than play dohArteza Kids Modeling Dough is a great set! Arteza has always been a good quality brand for arts and craft supplies, and this dough is no exception. The price is really affordable, considering how many colours are included.First off the jars do say Non-Toxic on them, which is a defiant necessity for small toddlers (who like to stick their hands in their mouths).Each jar has a little handle for carrying, they do snap off, but go back on pretty easily (my toddler has enjoyed carrying them around more than playing with the dough so far).They also have little moulds on the top of each jar. There's only 4 different designs to the moulds though, personally I wish each was different for more play options.The jars come well seeled with a plastic film, keeping the dough nice and soft. Even after opening, the lids snap on pretty well and have continued to keep the dough soft. The dough itself is slightly more "oily", keeping it from crumbling while playing and making it more pliable than most doughs/play clays. After using the dough with my daughter I found we had an ever so slight film on our hands, but not so much that I was worried of staining or feeling greasy.In the end I will absolutely recommend this Arteza modeling dough set. It's great for gifting and for children of many ages to enjoy. The dough was so easy to work with and my little one enjoyed every minute of it.This plasticine kit has a plethora of vibrant colours to choose from to create little creatures or whatever Little Miss wants to create.Each little container has a handle and a stamp imprint so you can carry the container and also press the plasticine into the inside of the lid to create an impression – like one that says Happy Birthday or animals. They work really well and Little Miss was impressed.It doesn’t have any noticeable smell and as long as it’s put back into the seal safe containers after use, stays fresh for multiple uses.It is good for kids who just want to create over and over again, as the colours don’t blend together well, hence easy to keep them separated for another creation.Overall, really great mouldable plasticine for kids to enjoy some screen free time imaginative play.I asked my kids for their thoughts on this dough and they say out of the 3 brands we have (this one, softee dough and the well known brand) they prefer this one. They say it is much softer, though this package is sticky and easier to make things with and smoother then other brands. It doesnt dry out like other doughs start to. The colours are bright and vibrant and there is no real smell. Each lid has a handle and a mold. While the price is higher then I would normally pay I think it is a good quality dough and if it lasts longer then leading brands maybe the price is worth it. We have only had it a few days so cant say how long it will last.They do find this one to be stickier then the other Arteza dough we got. And for the size of the cans I do think its over priced. But it is prefered to the leading brand by my kids.I thought all play dough was pretty much the same. Well I was wrong. This dough is so nice! Much nicer than the name brand we all know. It's softer and I think has more stretch than the other. It's a step above the other. Once you play with it you'll notice! Great selection of colours. Love that the caps are also moulds that can be used even after the play dough is gone. Yes, gone. Even though this is better dough it still doesn't stop my kids from leaving it out, shoving it in toys never to be seen again or just doing whatever they do. The one down fall of this dough is I do find it pricier. It wouldn't be so bad for an older child because they'd have more respect but by youngest is 3 and she doesn't care about the price! hahaWe love this modeling dough. It is fluffier than the name brand or diy salt doughs and there is almost no smell. I am glad it is listed as non-toxic since I did catch my toddler try to eat the 'broccoli' dough structure! It was a good learning time to teach him not to but still gave me piece of mind in case he does stick his fingers in his mouth.I love the containers, they are resealable and the dough stays fresh and doesn't dry out when you close the lid. I also love the molds on the lid. My toddler loved the turtle mold on the green lid! The dough cuts well with a play knife and doesn't stain his hands at all. We love it! I have a few crafting items from Arteza and they are always such high quality. This doesn't disappoint!
