Hario's classic ceramic dripper ranks among the best. The Hario V60 is a cone pour-over brewer which has been specially designed to produce an evenly brewed cup of coffee. The V60 is one of the most popular manual coffee brewers on the market today. Why the cone shape? The cone shaped paper filter adds depth to the coffee layer, so that the water flows to the center, extending the amount of time it is in contact with the ground coffee. The brand recognized by Coffee Geeks worldwide.
Classic Ceramic Dripper: Specially designed to produce an evenly brewed cup of coffee. Durable Japanese ceramic retains heat to help ensure retain temperature throughout the brewing cycle. Minimalist look to suit any kitchen design or style
Pour Over Excellence: Specialty cone shape and unique spiral ridges allow for deeper layering of the coffee grounds, producing a deep, rich umami flavor
Pour Control: The V60 features a single large hole, improving pour flow and providing users the ultimate freedom-- Pour water quickly for a light flavor or slower for a rich, deep taste. Better accentuates coffees with floral or fruit flavor notes
Traditional Meets Modern: Our ceramic drippers are made from Arita-yaki, a traditional style of Japanese ceramics with a rich 400-year history. Each Hario pour over dripper is handmade by a local craftsperson in Japan

I watched a couple YouTube videos prior/during my first use. The coffee is smooth and full-bodied. I have a French press that I've had for years and had now run it's course, so I needed something to replace it. After comparing reviews between the two, I went with trying the dripper instead of another French press. I love the switch and I'm happy to not have any of the grittyness. Comparing the same coffee grounds between my old press and the dripper gave me completely different results, the press gave me a coffee I could barely chug down and the dripper gave me a smooth delicious cup of coffee. Disclaimer, my press was a very old, cheap press. Either way, I'm happy for the change and switch and for an easier clean up.Coffee tastes like coffee without any plastic-y or otherwise insipid tastes.I would prefer it if the part the that sits on the inside of the pot you're resting it on top of were the same diameter as the opening, but I can imagine that it is the way it is to be as efficient as possible without sacrificing much universality or whatever.I've used a huge variety of pourover devices over many decades (starting with the original Melitta #2 cone, and then on to many others). For my method & taste, this is the best pourover dripper I have ever owned, and have now bought a spare plus another in glass (to be fancy). Only thing I would recommend: the base is not wide enough when I make coffee into a large mug and I have had to contrive a sub-base to keep it from falling into the mug. (This problem exists for most other brands and models of pourover dripper, by the way, so it is not just this make or model that has this issue.) Making the base about 1 inch wider would be SO helpful.I am a coffee fan, and v60 is so easy to use compared to other styles of drippers. Ceramic does take a few seconds to heat up, but it retains heat much better than plastic. It is not on my gift list for anyone who I would love to share the love of coffee!Oh this boi sure do drip. I pour the toasty water in the cone and it goes “akerplunk kerplunk dribble dribble dribble” every morning for my coffee.I like to put flour in the cone and make a little Hario drip-hole sized noodle for my daily lunch time happiness.Makes great coffee and is so easy to use! Ours came in great condition and is very sturdy. We’ve used it every morning and have not had a problem with it at all!Works perfectly! No tasting plastic from coffee makers. I use my electric kettle to boil my water. I took it with me on vacation?Product was broken when it arrived. I received the replacement the next day which was awesome.DO I NEED TO SEND THE BROKEN ONE BACK? SEEMS TO BE A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME FOR EVERYONE. Firstly, I was put off buying this for a while as one review seemed to suggest it's not ceramic - that's wrong, it is ceramic. The red is also a great colour, and it comes with a plastic measuring spoon which has a nice design and which is the same shade of red.I bought this with the corresponding size 2 filters by Hario, and can say it's great.Story time:The office I work at has a crazy big, expensive, and generally great coffee filter machine. Naturally, I made full use of it. I've been wanting to replicate it at home with some filter coffee of my own, but as I was getting it at the office, I couldn't justify making any at home as I didn't want to get addicted to coffee (more so than I currently am I suppose). However, now that I'm being forced to work from home (due to you-know-what), I was missing that sweet, sweet filter coffee. I don't have the space at home for a mega filter machine, and couldn't justify the cost of the smaller ones. That's when I took the plunge (the tiny, tiny plunge) of buying this. It's perfect, does the job just as you want it to, and I've got no regrets. It seems to be sturdy, as I said before it's ceramic, it looks great, and now that I'm back on proper coffee, I think my productivity will be back up too. Plus, since it's just a piece of ceramic at the end of the day, it's not got any parts that might break, it can be stowed away nicely, and it doesn't make a mess.Would definitely recommend if you just want a filter coffee without any fuss.Love the hario v60. I only brew for myself so this is perfect size for small or large single brews. Good quality. The first one I ordered came broken. I submitted a review with pictures which for some reason amazon flagged and removed so I never was able to get it replaced. I ended up having yo superglue it together. I recently bought a new one though as I was moving and didn't want to risk it breaking again. This second one came all in tact and works wonderfully. Never brewing without a hario ever again. I've heard hario color affects flavour. I've only ever tried white and have no complaints.I love this cone. It's more expensive than the plastic version but it's so worth it. If you're a coffee freak like me, you'll appreciate that it better retains the water temperature which aids the quality of the extraction, aka makes the coffee tastes much better. If you like to get fancy, expensive, arabica, fair-trade, specialty unicorn, stardust, magic coffee, you might as well get the best gear to make the most of it.Mankind was not ment to know the slow, spreading bliss that can be obtained through the use of this deceptively simple looking piece of white ceramic, a paper cone, a thoroughly washed out ex-peanut butter jar, and some grounds purchased from a hipster with overly elaborate facial hair. Will using this open up you mind to previously unimagined levels of consciousness? Will it make you 69% (Nice) more attractive to your preferred sexual partner or partners? Will it raise the dearly departed back to vibrant life? Certain government regulatory agencies prevent me from answering those questions with yes, but I will tell you this, I believe. So, dear shopper, the answer is, "Yeah, it's pretty good."
