DESCRIPTION: two snap bracelets connected together with fabric ribbon. each snap bracelet is thickly covered by synthetic hair.PRO:-bracelet pieces seem sturdy and strong. you would have to intentionally bend it the wrong way for it to be broken. snapping the bracelet portion is a little stiff, but thats just confirms its strength to hold up alot of hair.- works as promised (with some practice) - creates a great-looking hair bun in a minute!- great for my thick, medium length, layered Asian hair (approx mid-back)-a thick layer of synthetic hair covers each strap. even if my hair isn't thoroughly covering the hair bun maker, its hard to even see it because of the synthetic hair blending into my actual hair.-one order comes with 3 hair bun makers. i only needed one, maybe a second for a backup. but a third? thats pretty awesome.-super reasonable priceCON:- with synthetic hair strands covering the bracelet portion, my concern is how long will the strands cover the bracelet? despite the thick layer, i can slightly see the shiny, bendable metal bracelet underneath. VERDICT: Works great, but not the best quality from this brand.EXTRA INFO: i'm healthcare worker and my hair has been bugging me. with recently strict state orders and recent events, its pretty much impossible after Shelter-In-Place to get a decent haircut. so, my hair has been growing thicker, longer, and more stubborn. i tried to contain my hair with a ponytail-covered scrub cap, but my hair started escaping. i am constantly surrounded by "aerosol- generating procedures", so keeping my hair covered helps me not be a carrier of COVID19 and other possible nasty bugs. this hair bun maker was strong enough to corral my thick hair into a tight bun, which can now be covered with my scrub cap. so far, i've only used it for one 9 hr working day, but i was pleased with the hair bun maker's efficiency. it actually helped my neck because the weight of my ponytail usually gave me a headache, but the hair bun maker helped my neck move freely without a dead weight swinging around. Hooray!3/28/2022 UPDATE: the package came with 3 bun makers. one maker got bent out of shape, so it does snap into a perfect circle anymore. another maker broke at the fabric bond that combined two "snap bracelets" together, making it useless. the third one is still working.It took some fooling around with it to understand how this thing works but after that it's great. They definitely should include clear, step-by-step instructions, including that to engage the wrapping feature you must bend them in the direction that feels and sounds like you're breaking it at first. Once it's on it very sturdy. I've tried a few different styles with it and am delighted with the variations you can use. Now that I've got the hang of it I know I'll use it a lot.It took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it. But once I figured it out, it was amazing. I've used a similar item made of wire covered with foam or fabric, but those wear out fast, get hair stuck in them, tear, etc. and can be seen wrapped around the bun. BUT this one goes on so clean, wraps and unwraps clean, plus when you roll it up and pop it to make a circle, the hair complete covers the inserted sticks (I know!! Unbelievable!) and makes a very neat, nice looking bun, much better than the foam-wire-fabric ones. I'm already buying my second set so I can give a few to friends. Plus, my hair use to be real long, waist length, and I wrapped up constantly to avoid the heat, then I got tired of taking care of it and cut it off. It's only shoulder length now, and I thought I would not be able to get it up off my neck anymore, but these work even on shorter hair. GREAT PRODUCT. These will not work on wet hair and since I have somewhat thick hair, it doesn't fully dry despite my best efforts. The first band no longer snap straight. My fault. So I just begin to use it a day after I washed my hair, when it was dry. It lasted about a week before the second band could no longer snap straight. It had not been touched by rain or sweat. The third band, after one day of use, simply split in half.With practice I can easily make a bun. The hard part is taking the bun maker out.They are easy to use and make nice buns . I have very thick long hair and there work great and hold up my bun all dayI love these because they make a nice bun but the style seems to be really hard. I didn’t realize it would be that type of metal like the bracelet so when you slap your hand they curl up so every little strong touch of this metal and it curls up. I will not buy again but I’ll use what I haveI’ve been using these for about 4 years now. I love them! I’m in the military and these are the best thing for an everyday bun.
