This is my first time buying and using a french press. The vanilla lattes that I bought at the road coffee stands were getting too expensive. I bought this and a milk frother to make my own. Works well. I'm happy with it.After breaking some glass French presses, I bought this one. It is perfect!Nice for one cup. Dishwasher safe. Metal construction. Easy to use. Price OK.The screen is a nice tight fit & it keeps the coffee hot.No more broken glass making our French press useless! Delicious coffee, easy to clean, and wonderful that a spare screen is provided so we expect to use this for many years.This model is virtually identical to others I have seen of the size, and it works well as either a coffee press or a (cold) milk frother. All parts can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Extra replacement screens are provided.Great value good quality. Expect to get 8 to 9oz of brewed coffee out of this press. I brew 16g of coffee to 256g boiled water. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes.Love the stainless steel, keeps the coffee hot, easy to clean and unbreakable, the best of all worlds. Ifell in love with French Press when living in Europe. I always had glass systems before and Luke warm coffee and shattered glass put me off it but I missed it. Now I'm back and happy as a puppy with two tails! This little pot is perfect for me alone and I'm getting the larger one for entertaining. So happy!This works really well. The mesh is tight and so keeps more of the coffee grind out of my coffee making for a wonderful tasting cup of coffee. It is double walled so keeps coffee hot for quite a time.It also came with a spare set of double mesh.It also is a good match for the jug and sugar bowl I found elsewhere. Loving it!GorgeousArrived with the handle of the plunger snapped off (the tube is slightly jagged and blackened). I contacted the seller and they asked for a picture immediately, then didn't respond when I supplied one (over a week ago). Needed it short term so opted to just use it (I guess I'll try to find a glue that won't boil into my coffee), but either way be careful buying this especially if E.g. it's a gift and you need it in timeIts a nice press, however the metal to metal contact of the plunger while pressing down makes an uncomfortable squeaky noise.Works great. Very pretty and sturdy. Makes one cup of coffee though, not 2.
