The only reason for 4 stars is that the picture is misleading. It seems to show that the French press part can be taken out and the mug used to cook other things with a separate lid. It can be used that way, but you have to unscrew the knob on top and put your own locknut on the inside. All around good buy.Sturdy, easy to clean and works well with fine ground coffee!The french press portion easily unscrews. I purchased an alternative knob to use as a water boiler. It works great for this, while still can be used to make coffee when converted back.Removing the screen reduces the weight by at least half. Nicely made, sturdy and light weight.Love it works great and easyI love it because you get a good cup of Coffee from it and you don't have to use instant coffee while back packing, hiking, it camping.Works easy to clean I like itWorks very good, great price. I was making cowboy coffee while camping but this is so practical and light weight, easy to clean, perfect for 2 decent size cups of coffee. I like it so much I ordered a second one for my second home since space is limited there and 2 cups is perfect for me. That way I don’t have to transport back and forth.I used this on a camping trip in October - it's very lightweight, seems to survive being on top of a wood stove and the flames - got blackened but didn't deform. Heating water took ages though but that's more of a problem I think with wood stoves generally.The coffee press could be better, some of the grounds escaped into my coffee.This is a lovely lightweight camping French press - it was perfect for my camping trip and very eay to clean. It makes just over two cups of coffee. I travel solo, so it is perfect for me. It would be fine for two people though.Item arrived damaged- cracked lid, and the titanium spoon was missing from the order. I will be returning it and am seeking a refund.Wow ! I’m impressed. This is exactly what I was wishing. A lightweight, small bodum. It can do two coffee of 250ml easily. For me, it’s to much for one person. And perfect for two. As I wanted. Love it !!!!Works as intended but the mesh sounds and feels terrible on the cup
