When we recently replaced our old refrigerator, we decided to replace the existing solid copper water line with this flexible steel mesh line. At 10 feet long, we now have plenty of room when rolling the refrigerator out for cleaning without worrying about the flex line kinking or tugging or getting damaged.Installation was straight-forward in our case, as we had previous connectors at the wall and a standard fitting as part of the refrigerator. The purchased line did not include any adapters, but then again, now were needed. Had it come with an in-line shutoff M/F valve I would have used it, but not essential or needed for the next ten years (I hope).Both ends of the line sealed without a leak and the line is holding pressure. Water flow is adequate for both ice maker and dispenser on door (cold water reservoir).During COVID-19 I try to avoid crowds and even check-out at the store. This purchase and shipment supported that effort, and arrived well packaged and undamaged.I was asked to rate "ease to install, value for money, and flavor" which for all I gave 5 stars. I assume the lack of flavor is the selling point here, and that my water doesn't taste like something other than water.All-in-all a great experience, and pleased with the result.
