I'm not too sure if this pot even held 33 oz as described. I went to use it and heard a scratchy sound coming from it. At first, I thought I set the pot down on a gritty surface so I wiped down the counter and bottom of the pot. I tried again and realized the sound was coming from the handle on the pot. It wasn't secured firmly to the pot. I will not be buying this product again and won't recommend it either. Next time I will be looking for a more sturdy pot preferably made from another material besides glass.The tea kettle was supposed to be 20 oz, but it is only 2 oz. I am very mad because I wanted this for my mother's Christmas gift. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened it. I thought it was a doll's tea kettle. People in China need to get their measurements right. I have had no luck with items from China, but unfortunately, we don't have anything made in the U.S.
