This little gem arrived, and I am so excited to have a phenomenal travel solution for a good expresso on business trips (and bike rides and backpacking, and...and...and..).I have used the hotel in-room coffee machine in the past, and now I don't have to! I'm so thrilled!If they make one that also heats the water I'll buy it in a heartbeat. Until then, I'll microwave water, or heat over propane when backpacking, or will use my Balbali water heater that literally boils water for espresso in less than a minute.I also have the Nanopresso attachment that allows me to use Nespresso capsules. (And the heavens open up and light beams down!!! We got the white snow version, it’s sleek, useful, quick, easy to clean once you get used to the process, and makes a delicious espresso every time.Outside the US only instant coffee is available in most hotel rooms so I had to find a way to get that essential pick-me-up before checking out and facing yet another 12hr flight. Enter the Nanopresso. While you don't get a lot of volume, the experience is immeasurably better than dissolving freeze dried crystals of Nespresso/Kano/ to get what is in effect nothing more than hot, brown water. As long as your hotel room has a water kettle - and if they offer instant coffee in your room, they do - and you bring along your Nanopresso and your favorite espresso grounds, you are set.I really love this nanopresso portable espresso maker. While it isn’t an espresso from a $200 espresso machine, the result is a good espresso producing a nice crema on top. Preheat cup and make sure you use a fine ground coffee. Experiment with amount of coffee you use and you’ll be satisfied with the results. Great value for the portability. Very nice carrying case. Will definitely use it on the go.Wow, my espresso machine died and I realized that I didn't have a non-electrical backup device for making espresso, so after reading a bunch of "Best Of" articles and reviews I decided to give this little guy 'a shot' (ha!). Wow! It's an amazing device!! I really like it, plus it's fun to use and if you have running water available it's a snap to clean up. I'd guess if you have a pot of clean water handy it would be very easy to clean up also. It makes a decent crema and if you put boiling water into the tank the resultant espresso that comes out is "the right" temperature, this is according to me drinking it right away, I have not measured it with an instant-read thermo but feels correct. And it's very easy to pump in case you are worried about that. I wish it made doppios because that's my usual but hey, I still really like it.After I bought this, I read that they make even smaller ones, so it might be worth checking out if you're thinking of getting one of these. This one is still pretty small, though. It's pretty easy... boil some water, put some espresso in and tamp it with the little tamper they give you, put the hot water in the bottom compartment, turn it over and pump the button a few times and done-- espresso! Mine always comes out looking nice, too.This Espresso maker is the best! It is compact and lightweight. Easy to use and easy to clean. I added the Barista kit because I need two shots of Espresso. The only drawback for me is that there is not a case to fit the Nanopresso combined with the Barista kitCoffee taste so good. I bought the adaptor for the pods so cleaning is super easy.What can I say? This device is absolutely amazing. Makes incredible espresso in matter of seconds and takes even less to clean. On top of that comes with a cup and doesn't require any additional filters so it's environment frendly.Takes a little bit of effort to create the pressure with the button but the effects are really worth it.A little notes to keep in mind if you wanna buy it:1. It is for GROUND COFFEE ONLY but if you want there is available to buy extension that allows using Nespresso coffee pods.2. It DOES NOT heat up the water but you can make your espresso with already hot or cold water - up to your preference.3. I would not advise to use it as a travel mug. It is intended as a coffee maker only. The seals are working pretty well but might weaken over time and the device does not have ability to keep temperature.Makes a lovely espresso, really easy to use when you know how too. I bought it to take it camping and it worked a treat for the camping trip.My only complaint is the cleaning. After, literally, the first use, a small dribble of coffee ran down the side of the Nanopresso. It must have been there 20 minutes while I drank my drink and had a cake. I went to wipe it off and it’s stained the image on the side permanently. It was literally, 20 minutes. I suppose I could have cleaned it quicker had I known it was there, but I would expect it to be a bit more tolerable off coffee stains. Within an hour of it arriving, it was stained for life. Really depressing.So good I bought another for a gift for someone.Does what it says, and the espresso is great - really impressed how much crema there is on the espresso, the pressure is obviously very good.It's fine to clean, not a problem at all so puzzled why reviews say it's tricky to clean.Handy for making coffee when on the goEtwas fummelig, aber eigentlich ganz in Ordnung. Die Bohnen müssen deutlich grober gemahlen werden als bei Siebträger Maschinen. Ich habe die Double-Espresso Erweiterung, allerdings sind da Teile dabei, die man nicht braucht. Ich weiß nichtmal wofür die sein sollen. Bspw das dunkle Plastikteil auf dem "BaristaKit" steht... Keine Ahnung.Der Druck ist solala, zwischen dem Pumpen verliert es immer etwas an Druck, daher wird kaum eine homogene Extraktion möglich sein.Auch mit diesem orangenen Gummipfropf bin ich noch nicht viel weiter gekommen. Manche nehmen ihn raus, ich lass ihn meist drin. Unterschied ist marginal.Alles in Allem ein schönes Spielzeug für unterwegs, welches annehmbaren Espresso macht.
