This was a gift for my sister who likes to bake cookies. Here is what she saidWell I just made a batch of cookies using my new mixer. My observations are: 1. Makes mixing a whole lot more fun! 2. I used the beater attachment (paddle) but it didn't seem to really mix up the bottom or sides. Almost like it's a touch too small for the bowl? But, they do provide a spatula for scraping the bowl ?3. The " pot cover" seemed cool at first but it really has no purpose other than it makes adding ingredients harder and messy. I think I will just leave it off next time. The bowl is so deep that nothing's getting out of there! Otherwise, it seems quite powerful and surprisingly quiet. And it looks great in my kitchen!! Thanks again. Oh, and Ron loved the chocolate chip pecan cookies ?She also mentioned that the suction cups make it very stable.I wish the manufacturer would provide an update to the paddle, I would buy itSe calienta e usado esta batidora unas 10 veces con porciones pequeñas y funciona bien pero cundo ago porciones grandes se calienta y se apaga sola y pues me deja el trabajo a medias puesto que no vuelve a funcionar asta que se enfría y me toca terminar de amasar a mano ????I like how easy it is to use.This machine is great, it’s just as good as a KitchenAid but half the price. I bought it for myself because I like to make bread and I will be buying my daughters one as well.So far I’ve made rolls, bread , breadsticks in this machine, as that was the reason for buying it. But next week I will try cookies and lemon loaves… it is working like a charm. It is powerful enough to handle a 10 cup recipe for bread. So easy to change the attachments … just remember to push up and twist to put on or remove. Also, I read one negative review about the dough hook. Always start your bread recipe using the paddle , after that first portion of flour is mixed, change to the dough hook and finish up the dough. I love the splatter guard, but it takes a bit of practice to align with the bowl… be patient.I just received this machine after doing literally hours of reading on the subject of stand mixers. I liked the power of the motor and the reviews were very positive. I would have liked a smaller bowl, but at this power level it’s to be expected. My first project was to make rolls. I used three cups of flour and made an enriched dough. The machine breezed through it. The motor never strained at all even at slightly higher speeds. Of course the sides had to be scraped until all the ingredients were incorporated, but after that, the dough kneaded very well. I’m sure that cakes, cookies and whipping will go just fine. It does have a plastic shell so I don’t know about its durability, but the attachments are all metal and seem very sturdy. The machine is lightweight and easy to move around even with all of its power. The suction cups hold it firmly in place on the counter top and the machine runs pretty quietly. Because of the bowl size, this machine is not for real small jobs. There are other kitchen tools for that. If the machine lasts, it will be a great bargain since its cost is a fraction of the KA products that have less power, and takes up much less real estate. For the amateur home cook, this seems to be a great machine and I would recommend it. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't know about its durability.When i started using this machine it was working awesome but as soon as 8th month starts it started to leak.. from last 7 days when we ate some torn pieces of steel comes into my mouth.. so now i have to throw it away.. i would say only first impression is good.. Not a solid Machine..I was so hesitant buying this because it was so affordable when brand name modes are priced drastically higher. I'm so glad I took the risk because this mixer is awesome! I use it to make cosmetics such as bath bombs and body butters! It has all the attachments I need and the bowl is bigger than any mixer I've had in the past! I run mine for hours at at time and it performs amazing! Highly recommended !Does not reach the bottom to mix the ingredients. I can put my fingers/hand under...definitely does not pass the dime test. I could not find anyway to make height adjustments like with other models...where you turn a screw counter clockwise. I see no option here to adjust. I reached out to seller and waiting for response. I may have a defective model. It does not scrap the sides either...must use a spatula (supplied) ..that I am okay with I guess. Very disappointed ....will update when Seller responds.Gave only one star as so far I'm needing to stop and scrap /mix so often ..it renders this mixer useless...takes less time to mix by hand or use my reliable hand mixer.I did not try to dough hook. I use my bread machine (dough cycle) for that.If you need to add ingredients, while your blending next to impossibleAm very happy with my new mixer.Takes a little getting used to but all is good.Very good and fast delivery, I tried to make bread and it was wonderful to use .IT IS REALLY GOOD PURCHASE AND WORTH IT.
