Loved this system when breastfeeding and now my daughter is eating real foods. I like that I can purée my own fruit and veggie pouches. They say they aren’t reusable but I do reuse them as long as they didn’t stain.I already use the Kiinde breastmilk storage bags, and I have so many left, I thought this would be a wonderful transition. The squeeze bottle is useful, though not what I expected. It's just a big, soft cup with a spout on the end, and you could probably buy a small funnel and get similar results, using the Kiinde storage bags.Pros:1. The various top attachments for the bags are great: you can toss a bag in the diaper bag with the spoon or spout attachment (which both come with lids) so you can feed your little one on the go. This is a big plus for me because I'm trying to make all his food, and having pouches makes this doable when he needs to eat and we're not at home.2. Dishwasher safe (top rack) for the tops and squeeze bottle, which saves me precious time.3. Squeeze bottle is very big and can serve as additional storage. When I make a big batch of something, I will fill 3-4 bags with it (enough for snacks on the go during the week), and leave the rest in the squeeze bottle. Then, I can pour2-3 ounces in a bowl at meal times, saving the bags (and the waste) for when I need them on the go.4. This can save you money, if you are deciding between buying pre-made baby food or making your own. An average pouch of organic baby food (with the Amazon subscribe and save discount) is $1.18 per pouch. A Kiinde pouch is 32 cents per ouch (if you buy the 80 pack). We buy organic produce and can typically make a pouch of food (3-4 ounces) for an average of 75 cents, which makes a homemade Kiinde organic pouch about 10 cents cheaper. Not a huge amount, but it certainly adds up, considering we go through 2-3 pouches a day, and continue to ramp up It's important to me to know what goes into my baby's food, but we could not afford to do it if it weren't cost effective, and this seems to be cost effective. It's a win win for us!5. The storage bags are freezable, so you can freeze your extra food and pack away. The thin bags are easy to stack and store and don't take up too much room in the freezer.Cons:1. Squeeze bottle is not particularly special, and you could probably get the same use out of a funnel, and any tupperware with a lid.2. The bags are, as said in other reviews, quite wasteful. This is why I only use them when we are out and about. They are a lifesaver when you need food on the go and don't want to buy the ready-made squeeze packets.3. The spoon attachment is something I've been told NOT to use when training my son how to eat. In a class I took about preparing baby food, the teacher said that the spoons with squeeze features do a disservice for infants, who need to learn how to dip a spoon into food. I don't use the spoon, but do use the spout attachment.4 The spout attachment has a bigger opening than the pre-made, store-bought pouches. The result is my son, who is only 9 months and still getting the hang of eating solids from pouches, often makes a big mess! He does better with the store-bought packets, but is learning how to use this one. It's all a work in progress, right?!We use these for the convenience it provides when we're out of the house. When we're home, we opt for the ol' bowl and spoon routine (we use silicon ice cube trays to store most of our baby food0, and only use the kiinde bags a few times a week. Still, those few times a week make a huge difference for us!The system of the pouches with interchangeable squeeze top or spoon is incredible but the system for squeezing the food into the pouches is extremely challenging and frustrating. It leaves so much in the squeeze bottle extra and I find myself banging it all on the counter to try to get it to go down into the packet. Wish there was a better mechanism for squeezing the food into the pouches.I've been using this for a couple of months now. I've done two big batches of baby food where I make 15 or so pouches of all different food combinations. I also use it for one or two pouches when I have leftovers. I originally ordered it because I have the Kiinde Twist system for pumping and storing breast milk, which I love. While I do like this Foodii Squeeze system, I don't love it for the reasons I thought I would. Here's why:CONS1. The squeeze cup is much bigger than the picture makes it seem. I was picturing something sippy cup size, maybe slightly larger. This thing is much bigger; it holds about 18 fluid ounces. This is good if you want to fill a lot of bottles with the same kind of food. However, it's not great if you're only filling one pouch because it doesn't squeeze too well when it's that empty.2. It's not as easy to squeeze the food into pouches as I was imagining it would be. You need to do quite a bit of pounding on the counter and shaking to actually get the food into the bag. If you have the Twist system use the white bottle holder to hold the pouches while you're filling them. This makes it much easier to bang them on the counter and get the food down to the pouch. When it gets down to the last little bit, I unscrew the green lid (leaving it on the pouch), and use a spoon to scoop the rest of the food down into the pouch. Sort of using the green lid as a funnel, if that makes sense...3. Mine is now stained orange from using it for carrots and/or sweet potatoes.PROS:1. You can use an immersion blender in it! I was so excited when I discovered that my immersion blender fit in this thing. I had originally planned on using my Vitamix to make baby food, but you need to make a couple of servings worth in order for the Vitamix to work correctly. I can put half an avocado in the squeeze cup, blend it with my immersion blender, and squeeze it into the pouch. All I need to wash is the immersion blender and the squeeze cup (in the dishwasher).2. The green spoon that comes with it is awesome! Before we got this we were using plastic Nuby Hot Safe spoons. My little one never liked those, but she loves this green Foodii spoon so much. We actually started using it even when we're not using the pouches because she will actually eat off of it. We just stick our finger in it and it's super easy to feed her with. It's a little big, but is so soft and bendy (silicone) that she just loves it. It comes with a case for the top of the spoon. I wish the bottom of the spoon had a cover so I could throw it in the diaper bag without getting dirty (since that part goes into the pouch and touches the food).I took one star off for it not being easy to squeeze into the pouches. If you have reasonable expectations about that, you'll probably like it!My kids love it, and I love it too :) Very usefull, we use to filled them with various fruit compotes, we made ourselves.
