I love this tool. Don't let the less than prefect rating fool ya.It is great for mixing and smashing etc. I use it mostly for squishing bananas for banana bread. It does a fantastic job.My only concern is that it wobbles a little because of the way the handle is attached. This may be a feature in other uses but for how I use it, it moves a little more than what I would like. I would like to see one where the handle is cast as part of the tool instead of a separate piece added to it. I may have to look at that if I need another one in the future.Overall a good kitchen tool and a whole heck of a lot easier to use to cut up bananas for bread than squishing them with the potato masher..Super sturdy, super easy to use. Yes, I use it for pastry dough, but I also use it to chop up sausage or ground beef as it cooks in a pan. And it's easy enough to clean that doing that isn't a problem. I have the red handle and it makes it really easy to spot in our crowded utensil drawer.It’s a bit smaller than I’m used to. Haven’t tried it out yet.I will use it primarily to make streusel for pies, muffins, desserts.Super sturdy, can be used to cut any food into small pieces. I use it to mash avocados, for mashed potatoes, for hard boiled eggs for egg salad sandwiches. And I usually hand wash it.
