Basically, these are just paint brushes. But for the price of 4 brushes and the scraper, it's a decent deal.The metal on these brushes will rust, as you can see in the photo. The far right brush was used once when this photo was taken and has some rust on it. Not sure if it was left in the sink for a while or what caused it to rust. But I imagine that will happen with any of these cheaper pastry/paint brushes.I haven't had issues with bristles coming out, at least so far. I can deal with the rust, but I really hate when the bristles get all over my food. So I'm happy so far with that aspect of the brushes.I liked that the scraper has measurements on it. That's useful. However, on mine the ruler isn't straight. It angles up a little from left to right. Not an issue for me, but some people might be bothered by that.I was looking for a new pastry brush with soft bristles. My other brushes all end us hard and open hole in my phyllo pastry.The price was right on this one and I thought I'd try it.And I loved it. You get four brushes, in two different sizes, and the counter scraper. I used mostly the wider size brush and it works beautifully and delicately on thin phyllo. No more tearing.I am also really loving the counter scraper. I couldn't believe how much easier it was to clean all the sticky flower after I was done shaping.I gave a 4-star in the durability, but only because I haven't had the brushes long enough to see if they remain soft.Very durable product. It's easy to use and clean. Would definitelypurchasemore..Wonderful product. As a baker I have had a hard time finding brushes that are high quality. Most brushes are the thick silicone ones or are really crappy brushes with bristles that fall out and onto my baked goods. These brushes are a pastry chef’s dream. Smoothly glaze atop pastries, are easy to clean and were a real steal, especially considering it’s a set of four. The bench scraper that comes with them (free) has measurements in inches and cm’s for added convenience. In addition to being of great quality, the turn around time on my order was amazing. I ordered them in the morning and the evening after placing my order, they arrived.The brushes served their purpose. The bench scraper is kinda cheesy.4 natural brushes and a dough cutter, a good deal for 14$. There aren’t enough bristles on the brushes, a bit thin, but they do the job.All 5 items come in a neat little cardboard box that I keep them in for now.For the price, this set is very good. A couple of bristles came out of the small brush, but other than that I really like this and it’s worth purchasing.Mostly picked up this set for the pastry brushes. They aren't the highest quality, but they're working fine and for the price, were worth it. The scraper is fine as well.
