We chose it because it was recommended by Cooks Illustrated/America’s Test Kitchen, who we really trust and rely on for information and recommendations.We have used this 14-Cup Cuisinart Food Processor to slice, chop and puree and it works like a charm, making quick work of anything and everything we put into it. It has several safety features to keep it from running unless the bowl and lid are properly attached. If you don’t attach both the bowl and lid it will not operate.The blades are sharp and easy to clean. There are two different sized feed chutes/plungers and 2 slicing disks along with the cutting blade. The pluse switch is very responsive and works great.This 14-Cup Cuisinart Food Processor is something needed in every kitchen and is excellent.
