I had received a Kuerig K-Classic type model some years ago from a friend for Christmas. It worked great for years, but I thought it was time for an upgrade. The old one was starting to leak a little and it was just time.For the old one you had to wait for it to heat up and then put your K-Cup in and select the size of cup you desired. It honestly kept me from using it on days where I went to work. I know that sounds silly, but it's the truth. With this one, you open the top, put in your K-Cup, select your size of cup and if you want it "Over Ice" or "Stronger" and hit the K in the center and poof, it starts almost immediately. No wait, no fuss.The over ice button was nice in the summer, as oftentimes when you make iced coffee it's weaker unless you use extra coffee grounds, for whatever reason this button seems to work well. My over ice coffee tasted as strong as it would normally.I also love that this model has a filter option in the water tank. The old one did not. And it will tell you when it needs descaling (sold seperately!).A great model, I'm very pleased with it.
