See pictures to get a true idea of size. I got this to hammer on 16 and 18 gauge silver, but you have to have pretty good aim to use this hammer on wire. The heads are too small. But, I love it anyway. I can use it on other things. I'm a believer in Fritz hammers. I have had three other Fritz hammers for 21 years, and they have never broken, and are as strong as the day I bought them. I hope this one lasts a long time too.
