This genuine Ladbrooke "Maxi" soil blocker makes the largest soil block in the Ladbrooke line of tools, producing a single 4" x 4” x 4” soil block.
The Maxi soil blocker has a built-in a square indentation that is suitable for transplanting Mini 4 or Multi 12 blocks into. No additional inserts are required.
It is part of the unique Ladbrooke Micro 20/Mini 4/Maxi "nesting" system for starting seeds and cuttings or transplanting starts.
To make soil blocks, potting soil is compressed wet into the soil block mold and then discharged into a tray with the ejection handle. Soil blockers make a "pot-less" pot for starting seeds. With soil blocks, roots are air-pruned and transplant shock, stunting, slow-growth is greatly reduced.
