I installed this ice maker 6 months ago with some installation issues - such as storing the jumper cable so it wasn't in the way and the shut off arm wouldn't fit in the fill bucker but I got it working and it was OK for 6 months. Then the heating coil on the bottom of the unit came unglued and the coil fell into the bucket and i had quite a time getting the drawer open. The vendor says there is no warranty. Bottom line - don't buy if you expect more than 6 months service
